"The Winkel" was a fun experiment exploring wheel geometry, demonstrating that a compliant wheel does not need to be round to maintain a constant diameter. Its unique shape makes it an intriguing approach to compliant wheel design, while also introducing a subtle “kicking” behavior when manipulating objects directly off the floor.
